Ashley Farris among winners of University of Kansas math department honors

The University of Kansas mathematics department recognized its undergraduate and graduate students and faculty for outstanding academic and teaching achievements at its 55th annual honors banquet April 24 at the KU Adams Alumni Center, including Ashley Farris, of Wichita.

Farris was named a Rollin S. Wade New Student Scholar Spring 2012. She is the daughter of Alyson and Leroy Farris. Farris is a freshman in chemical engineering.
