Lauren Schumacher among winners of University of Kansas math department honors

The University of Kansas mathematics department recognized its undergraduate and graduate students and faculty for outstanding academic and teaching achievements at its 55th annual honors banquet April 24 at the KU Adams Alumni Center, including Lauren Schumacher, of Rolla, Mo.

Schumacher was named a Wealthy Babcock Scholar 2012-2013. She is the daughter of Linda and John Schumacher. Schumacher is a sophomore in aerospace engineering.
